Accordingly, our representation of survivors of sexual and domestic abuse is grounded on an empowerment model of victim advocacy, whereby each client controls the direction of his or her case and the remedies sought. We analyze our clients’ needs with an eye toward providing holistic legal services within our core practice areas, with the ultimate goal of helping them heal and seek justice for wrongs done to them. Although the civil justice system cannot provide a remedy in every case, and pursuit of civil legal action may not be appropriate for everyone, attorneys Jacqueline Swanson and C.J.
